C Sum and Divide Elements in Array

Here your task is to ask user to enter any number of elements in an array and you have to add all numbers entered by the user and divide the resultant summation by the number of elements in an array.

C sum and divide elements in array

C Program - C Sum and Divide Elements in Array

Let us write a C program to add all user entered numbers and divide the resultant summation by the number of elements in an array.

c-sum-divide-array.c
#include <stdio.h>
#include <ctype.h>
#include <string.h>
int main()
{
int sum = 0, a[10], i, count;
printf("Enter array size : ");
scanf("%d",&count);
printf("Enter elements : ");
for(i = 0;i < count;i++)
scanf("%d",&a[i]);
for(i = 0;i < count;i++)
sum += a[i];
if(sum % count == 0)
printf("%d is divisible by %d ", sum, count);
else
printf("%d is not divisible by %d ", sum, count);
return 0;
}
Enter array size : 5
Enter elements : 1 2 3 4 5
15 is divisible by 5

Note:

Here the logic is very simple. we use a variable sum by which we will do summation for every elements entered by the user synchronously and then divide the summation value by count, if remainder leads to zero we will print Summation value is divisible by count else Summation value is not divisible by count
