Creating uniform magnetic field using bar magnet

Take two bar magnets of same size. Now if you hold two opposite poles close to each other so that they attract each other, this makes a uniform magnetic field.

Creating non-uniform magnetic field using bar magnet

Take two bar magnets. Now if you hold two same poles close to each other so that they repel each other, this makes a non-uniform magnetic field.

Creating magnetic field using current

When a wire carries the current, a magnetic field is formed around the wire because of the movement of charged particle i.e) movement of electron.

Creating magnetic field using Electromagnet

An electromagnet is a type of magnet e.g) ferromagnetic material. This kind of magnet produces a magnetic field by using electric current as a source. Here, a ferromagnetic material such as iron is surrounded by a wire which carries a current to produce a magnetic field around it.
