Maximum Power Transfer Theorem

Basically, power is supplied from a source to a load. As shown in the figure, a generator with internal resistance Ri supplying power to a load resistance, RL. Maximum Power Transfer Theorem tells us at what load (RL = ? ) maximum power will be transferred from the source to the load.

Explanation

Calculating the value of load resistance, RL for which maximum powe will flow to the load. Also calculate the maximum power transfer efficiency, ie, the power transmission efficiency whien maximum power is transferred.
